Partial result from the specialty & the Euro:

From Elena: “Naqhi won the class, the best female-junior (specialty) .  Best of Breed was the male from Sweden.” (owned & handled by Ia).  This is partial results from the  specialty.  We hope that someone will email us the final results.  Big congratulations to Elena and Ia and  all  of the other participants in the specialty.  You are working to educate the world about out beloved breed, the XOLO. (I apologize for the earlier post that was misleading….my blooper)
From Marco: “First there was a specialty show. Cuauh was BOB………Second day, she won champion class and reserve CACIB…so she is “vice-champion” of Europe. This is how european say…although it implies nothing else. Since both days she was best in her class, she got the slovenian championship.”
Marco’s female Xolo “Cuauh” is his breeding, sired by his male, Besitos Apache. Congratulations, Marco!!!!

Big congratulation to Ia and Renata, WOW.  You have both worked so hard.

PROUD is what I am of all the participants in this competition.  I  hope that many of you have initiated new friendships and renewed old friendships and networked for the betterment of the breed and for the betterment of unity in our breed family.  We need each and every one of you in the ring.

The Xolos will enter the ring…

at the Euro Show in Slovenia in 15 minutes. At 10 a.m. Pacific Standard Time here. It will be 9 hours later in Slovenia. 7 p.m. They will have breed competition again at 11 p.m. Pacific Standard Time here, and that would be 8 a.m. tomorrow in Slovenia. This is an exciting competition that is bringing together a huge number of Xolos from many parts of the World. Many new and young breeders will be there, along with the older breeders. The growth in the Xolo community is very inspiring and with each year the representation is better and better. Congratulations to all of the participants. Without good competition, the win becomes insignificant. May you all enjoy the day in friendship and good sportsmanship.

And from Paqui’s handler & Mom…

“The 4 day all breed dog show is on in town and I was determined to finish Paqui’s RAE during it (our last “local” chance till next year).
With 2 legs to go (not a 2 legged dog people) I decided that it would behoove me to enter him on Thursday and Friday when things would be a bit quieter than it usually is on the weekend (more public there more hustle and bustle). Okay so I was feeling pretty confident (which usually if not always bites me in the butt) that he’d be able to finish the 2 legs in the 2 days and only entered 2….
That he did and today got his final “double Q” and finishing his RAE (Rally Advanced Excellent) title. So we can now change his big boy name to MTWaggin To Be Happy, CD, RAE anddddd he is only the 2nd xolo ever to get that title (behind our friends Teresa and Machu who got theirs last year I believe). Not only that but Paqui turned a ripe ol’ 9 years old on Tuesday, was “retired” from the ring for all of last year, and did his 10 double Qs in 10 straight shows this summer. Not bad for the xolo who didn’t see the brain fairy visit till he was 6 years old and who started out as a malnourised rescue 9 years ago!”

…miniature xoloitzcuintle puppies at Besito Xolo. We have growing puppies of the three sizes, miniature, intermediate and standard. I often like to keep puppies until they are crate trained and really ready to live in the human home.
