Memories…

…of past World Shows…The first World Show Brace competition that was won by a Xolo pair was in 1998 at the Finland World Show. Handler Alejandra Flores, of Mexico City, placed Number One in the World Brace competition with Xochimilco and Amapola, mother and son.

Subsequently, Maureen Pinto, of the United States, handled several brace wins at World Shows in Italy, Amsterdam & Brazil. Kris Wheeler, of the US, won a 3rd place in progeny with miniature Xolos in Italy.

News from…

…”Sara’s” family……..”Sara has grown to a robust sixty pounds. She is now fifteen months old. She is so sweet with her family but strangers need some investigation. Some people she does not trust at all. Other people she meets for the first time she loves instantly. I do not know why. She knows our routines without asking but does not obey instantly unless it suits her. Too smart for her own good. A very picky eater is she, but always on the alert for a piece of banana. Suffice to say that she is a joy and we hate to be away from her .”

It sounds to me like Sara has everything under control. 🙂

Many of our Xolo Friends are in Paris…

New AKC Champions…

Mesquite and Golondrina became AKC Champions this past weekend at a very large show in Oregon, and Mesquite earned a Grp 3 placement under Connie Clapp. We are very proud of these two Xolos. The Xolos were judged by Anne Fleming and Connie Clapp.

New AKC Ch. Besitos Golondrina, Judge Connie Clapp, handled by Christine Feldman-Bartnick.

New AKC Ch. Besitos Mesquite, Canadian Ch., XCUSA Ch. BISS.

This was a GR.3 placement that earned him nearly 200 points.

Adorable…

…coated standard pups. These two are nearly four weeks old. They are standard, a male and a female. They are from Besitos Aymara, a female from a new line that was brought from the southwest part of Mexico a few years ago and sired by Besitos Jose Cuervo. Jose was a pup from Tecuhtli and Cancun. These pups will be ready to go to pet homes in about four weeks, or they could possibly go to a breeding or show situation.
