Elo and Louise were…

…wonderful at Westminster. After the breed competition we all went to our place in the benching area. For the entire day Louise stood and talked to people about the Xolo Breed and never lost her smile and gentle demeanor. She was amazing and so was Elo. Being taken out of her crate dozens of times and handled by total strangers was fine with her and she took it all in stride, like a real veteran. What an amazing pair they were. Wonderful ambassadors for our breed!!!

…from Barbara Griffin, “Baalche is the Top AKC Xolo in agility. We couldn’t go to the Invitational in Florida so the AKC sent the award and it arrived today. Baalche (AKC CH SBIS XCUSA Int Ch) Baalche (Hoover) Mex FCI CGC RN ThD AX NAP NJP OF MXJ has 31 agility titles (5 agility venues), 5 conformation championships, 2 Rally titles, and is a certified Therapy Dog. He has qualified again for 2012 and 2013 for the agility Invitational. I am very proud of my little buddy.” HEARTFELT CONGRATULATIONS, BARBARA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

News from one…

…of my favorite “Xolo Duenas.” Shirley Lundy is in her 80’s and still does rally and obedience training with her dogs. Here she is pictured with her standard hairless female Xolo, “Roca.” When I spoke with Shirley on the phone recently she expressed that she sends her love and best wishes to all her Xolo friends….and wishes that we could get together more often.

…this weekend in Georgia. Auanda earned her CAT TITLE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! CONGRATULATIONS TO JEN & AUANDA! We are proud of your patience and perseverence and thank you for representing the Xoloitzcuintle Breed. WOW.
