I have this message from Jo Acton to share…

…”Besito’s Teotihuacan was allowed to move on, January 3, 2014, at eleven years of age. He had heart failure. He was my Bubba. He traveled all over the world earned 15 championships in seven different countries. A great traveler, a wonderful protector, and an amazing ambassador for the breed. “What kind of dog is that? He is so different! He is so neat! How do you pet him? He is beautiful.” were all comments or questions. He loved his family and his two lady xolo companions and he never forgot someone he liked and greeted them with enthusiasm. He will be missed so much. Thank you Patty for taking a chance and entrusting this boy to me. He opened many doors and encouraged me to experience travel and wonderful adventures. Will miss him so much.”
Jo, we are with you in your sadness. Teo was a great Xolo. The two of you were wonderful ambassadors for he breed in every country that you visited. May those memories always bring you joy and pride. We have been very proud of you.

A fond farewell to a great Xolo…

…From Eva Voslarova in the Czech Republic: “I am very sorry to announce that our beloved FCI Int. Champ., World and European Champ. 2000 Caterina (Hoover) passed away (14.2.1999 – 12.10.2013). Our whole family misses her terribly but fortunately she did not suffer and just fell asleep yesterday evening. She has been taking her heart medicine for some time but still enjoyed her life and had no visible health problems or limits to her lifestyle. It was just this week when she seemed to be more tired and mostly resting and sleeping and finally did not wake up. I believe she had as long and happy life as a dog can have but still it was too short for us! We will miss her a lot…” Farewell dear Caterina. May your star shine brightly.

Such Good News…

…Barbara Griffin of Salem, Oregon writes: “I got a nice surprise this morning. “Besito,” GCH Besitos Valentin qualified for the AKC National Owner-Handled Finals. Last year he qualified as one of the top 10 conformation Xolos. He joins “Baalche” CH Baalche (Hoover) RN MX MXJ NAP NJP OF who has qualified for the AKC Agility Invitational for the 3rd year. Both boys are “Hoover Hounds,” bred by my dear friend Patty Hoover, Besito Xolos.”
Congratulations on your hard work with the boys, Barbara!!!!!.
